Retrofitting Notes

When retrofitting with a new refrigerant always check refrigerant manufacturers retrofitting instructions. They always provide retrofitting requirements and recommendations. Sometimes there must be changes to some of the following:

leak detection devices used
lubricant type
seals & gaskets
addition of pump down system
addition of crank case heater
alterations to control system
pressure control cut out settings
line sizing
EPRV settings
TXV adjustment
